An Invitation from the Ambassador to meet the Phil. Delegation in Denmark

This is a rare opportunity for us to meet our President and the members of the Philippine delegation among whom are Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto Romulo and other cabinet ministers and Senator Loren Legarda. They will be participating in the UNFCCC COP 15, which you very well know, is being hosted by Copenhagen this year.

I have reported to the President how you have been a source of pride to our country and how you have rallied to the help of your countrymen in distress. Thus, she is also eager to meet you.

As in the past, I will completely rest in the confidence that you will extend your support and assistance to ensure the success of this event. She will be giving a speech addressed to you.

Again, please be there by 18:30H as we will start with a cultural show. For this said show, we strongly encourage those who are able to perform songs or dances to kindly submit your entries to the Embassy. Kindly limit your performance to a maximum of ten minutes.

Kindly publicize this invitation to your members as widely as possible as we envision attendance to total 300 persons. Please confirm your attendance and the number of participants from your group to Vice Consul Lenna de Dios-Sison at Tel Nos. +47 22400900, email address lenna.dedios@yahoo.com or ambassador@philembassy.no. After December 13, Vice Consul Sison will be based in Copenhagen and may be reached at +4790241171which will be operational all the time.

AMBASSADOR ELIZABETH P. BUENSUCESO
