ABAKADA is a tri-lingual women’s magazine published by Babaylan-Denmark.  It is an acronym for Ang Balitang Kababaihan sa Danmark (in English: The Women’s News in Denmark)

Abakada is a Filipino word that means alphabet, and is derived from the first four letters of the alphabet: A, B, K and D.

Babaylan DK’s ABAKADA contains articles on issues important to immigrant women: migration, development, integration, multicultural society, and related topics. ABAKADA also carries general interest articles on women’s health, tourism, literature, and Danish culture. It documents the activities of Babaylan and its partners through photos and reflections.  It is a magazine filled with humour, pet women topics and topical cartoons.
